Toughness

Toughness is necessary. Republicans can invoke lie after lie and then through a creative process of repeating the same lie,(abeted by the fox propaganda network) we have what amounts to evangelical truth. If Obama is going to win he must demonstrate how tough he can be. It may me the single most important characteristic a President can have in his arsenal. The American people don't want another republican but they will not accept someone who leaves doubt to their ability to defend the country, the citizens and their families. NO Toughness, no dem as prez. Its that simple. Obama knows this. He has 53 days to convince America he will protect our wives, husbands and children. It is not just a security issue. It is economic, it is issue oriented, but it is much more visceral than intellectual. I know Sen. Obama can do it, but he must begin now. PS. he cannot get his ass kicked by a vp candidate from alaska on the toughness question. The kid gloves must come off. The better candidate is Obama, I think a decent majority knows this but a lesser candidate who doesn't take any bullspit will always be percieved as a stronger and more capable candidate. What good is having knowledge without the power to implement change.

franks walnut

It is said a prostate is the size of a walnut. My Doc this week said my walnut was lumpy. Very weird sensations. At first , no problem, regardless of the outcome. Then I realized it was selfish and I was only thinking of myself. Man, in my old age I realize I dont love everyone but I do love almost everyone.
they come first. I got a step kid who is so good i think he is fictional. I got a wife who shows me she loves me .
I've got two sisters who make me feel so damn good I want to share them. We all have our problems. Only mine are mentionable. I am an alcoholic. My kids hate me. the IRS would like to take our relationship to a new level. And I have encountered an unfortunate legal challenge. I dont drink currently.

Fragile X has impacted my dearly loved ones.
My Mom who I love is about as racist as a lovely white 84 year old can be. Ps. she was horribly abusive growing up. My Dad was an alcoholic. My dad was brilliant and funny as anyone I have ever seen professional or otherwise.
My sisters have been dealt a tough hand but have played the cards they have been dealt to the benefit of everyone. It would be wrong not to mention my mom was raised by a dick.

Why all this detritus? Am I looking for sympathy? No. Because we are all the same. I mean not my family but all of us. You and me , we all have stories.
We all have responsibilities to change the future. I dont want my experiance to be shared by anyone. The thing is you, me, them, we are all the same. I bet there are more stories like mine than the wholesome Brady bunch types.
We need to change ourselves to make things easier on us, but we also need to change our leaders if they are not responsive to us, or aware of our problems and needs.
To me personally it means doing all I can to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States. Locally Siobahn Bennett is running against an incumbant republican in the 15th congressional district that has a dem +2 (charlie Cook PVI), yet every site does not think this is a competetive race. If you happen to read this please talk up PA 15. It is up for grabs and winable. Please make folks take notice.
So the point is Vote. Participate. Change in any way possible. Take responsibility. No Hatred. Love your brother, and your sister.
